As If I Had You Next to Me is a 20-minute creative documentary film co-directed with Despina Ladi, funded by the Hellenic Film & Audiovisual Center, and produced by Empty Square.

A portrait of the unconventional 90-year-old grandma Despina and an alternative portrait of Greece from the years of the crisis until the coronavirus, through telephone conversations between the grandmother and her immigrant granddaughter, who lives in England.
