FROM THE IDEA TO THE RESULT IN A VISUAL PROJECT
How to research an idea?
How to plan, build and produce a project subsequently?
How to get exposure?
FRIDAY 17:00-20:00
Loulou d’Aki will present her personal and commissioned work.
She will explain her methodology and answer questions.
SATURDAY 10:00-18:00 with a one-hour lunch break
Students will share their projects to discuss with Loulou d’Aki the direction the work in question can take to improve strategies and ways forward. Depending on each individual project, the students will get a small assignment regarding their project. They can choose to work on it on Sunday morning either at the atelier délos or outside.
SUNDAY 10:00-18:00
After a morning session of photographing or editing, depending on each project, the group will meet after lunch at 14:00 to have a final presentation of the work and see the progress. Sunday morning can also be an occasion for students to discuss and ask questions.
For Whom: The workshop is for photographers and visual artists with a special interest in storytelling.
Get Prepared: Participants should bring works in progress, preferably in small prints, to look at rather than digital files. The projects can be either well on their way or in the beginning stages. If the projects are only in the idea status, some sketches, notes, or reference images could be helpful.
Participation is confirmed with a deposit of €50 via bank transfer or by appointment at the atelier délos until 05/10/2023.
